Meet Nicole

Hello, and thanks for stopping by, I am happy to have you here!

My name is Nicole, and I am mom to two adorables – Meghan and Chelsea, and wife to an amazingly patient and supportive man. (who very rarely shakes his head in disbelief at some of the “projects” I bring home – mwah, love you honey!!) Scrap Me Baby began about 3 years ago, with some vague ideas and a couple of requests for custom scrapbooks. It has steadily grown to include other types of projects, custom frames, mini paper bag albums, altered canvasses, and home decor projects. Lately I have been bitten by the DIY bug, and although my skills are still somewhat lacking I am having a blast trying new projects!

I have amazing clients who let me create from the heart, and have found tons of amazing women in blogland who have inspired me to try so many new things (including a blog!!)

Inspiration comes in many shapes and forms, and I hope you find some here…

This is really cute. Have you seen any of the Portlandia series? You may enjoy this episode given your feelings regarding birds… :o)

    • Funny! No, I hadn’t seen any of that series yet.
PS – LOVE your blog…in fact, a vintage piano bench is now sitting in my office waiting to be “pretty-fied” thanks to a project I saw over there:)
      Thanks for coming by!

Hi Nicole – you sent me an email ( simply vintageous – striped dresser ) thanks so much for
    your kind words!!!!
I suck at blogging – truly – this took longer than it should have to figure out how to reply to your email – and in the end this was the only way I knew to do it, hope you see it!
I am always amazed by the similarities in furniture from one end of the continent to the other –
You are in Texas? I am in Montreal, Canada – and here we sit with the same dressers.
    Lots of love,
    and many thanks
    Suzan

I love the bathroom you re-did last year. Where did you get the shower curtain & towels? Thanks.

I’m totally uncrafty but desperately wanting to do up a custom recipe book with family photos for my very sentimental gorgeous daughter who is turning 18 in May and will be moving away to go to University in the fall. We have been through some very difficult times over the past 5 years and this is one way I can help her keep important memories alive. Is this something you could help me out together? What city are you in? Thank you, Sherry
